WG4 Hydraulic properties（水力学特性） イギリス
WG5 Durability（耐久性） アメリカ規格案の審議には，TC 221国内専門委員会が対応しています。
○TC221関連の動き
TC221では，今後ジオメンブレン関係や材料選定・設計・施工に関する規格の審議が進められると思わます。この分野に関する規格の内容は，わが国への影響が大きいので，ISO規格案として上がる前の段階での対応（ASTM・CENなどとの連携）の可能性を現在検討しています。なお，2002年6月に，ISO TC221とASTM D35間で協定が結ばれ，ISO TC221はジオシンセティックス関連の実績のある試験法を数多く有するASTM規格を尊重し，専門部会ベースでの協調が図られることになったので，我が国としても今後さらに迅速な情報収集を行うことを計画しています。
